Peer-review Process

-Selçuk University Journal of Social Sciences Institute (SUSBED) is an international peer-reviewed journal published three times a year in April, August and December. In SUSBED, researches conducted in the field of social sciences, especially business, economics, communication, history, literature, international relations and law are included.
- The articles to be sent must be an original article that will fill a gap in the field or a review that evaluates previously published studies and presents new and remarkable views on this subject.
- Our journal uses a blind peer-review system in which the identities of the referees and authors are kept confidential to each other.
-The editorship examines the articles sent to the journal in terms of form and content, first of all, for compliance with the publication principles. The articles whose preliminary review is completed are sent to the Field Editor for review. In line with the opinions of the Field Editor, the article is forwarded to the Editor to be sent to the referees. The editorship sends the article to at least two referees. Two referee reports must be positive for the article to be accepted for publication. Depending on the status of the referee's reports, a third referee's opinion may be taken when necessary.
- The articles sent for publication are also confirmed by a special program used in plagiarism detection, that the articles have not been published before and do not contain plagiarism.
The publication process of accepted articles takes 3-4 months from the date of upload.
- Submission of articles to the journal is free of charge. No fee is charged for the article accepted for publication.
The authors of the article sent to the Journal of Selcuk University Institute of Social Sciences are deemed to have declared that they have not committed any ethical violation.
