THE ROLE OF CAREER ENRICHMENT IN ACHIEVING ORGANIZATIONAL LEARNING FIELD STUDY IN A SAMPLE OF INDUSTRIAL COMPANIES AT DHOFAR GOVERNORATE

Abstract

This
quantitative study aims to discuss the role of functional enrichment in achieving
organizational learning in a sample of human resources staff working in four
industrial companies in Dhofar Governorate. The problem lies in the information
collected by the researcher; there is a gap between the functional enrichment
and organizational learning variables in these companies: Salalah Pasta
Company, Salalah Mills Company, Oman Oils Company and Raysut Cement Company.
The researcher used the analytical descriptive method, which is based on the
study of the phenomenon as it is, and expressed in quantity and quality. The study population consists of (600)
employees of these industrial companies. A random sample of (100) employees was
selected. The researcher designed a questionnaire of (40) paragraphs; (19)
paragraph to measure the enrichment of functional and (21) paragraph to measure
organizational learning. The study found the following results: There is a
relationship of positive correlation with statistical significance at the level
of (0.01) between the importance of tasks and organizational learning. A
statistically significant relationship of correlation was found at the level of
statistical significance (0.01) between independence of tasks and
organizational learning. One of the recommendations was to give the employee an
opportunity to participate in decisions related to the functions in which he
participated in order to increase the level of creativity of the employee in
the performance of his work.
