Abstract

This study aims to measure the degree of school administration commitment to strategic management standards and its relationship to job satisfaction in North Al Batinah schools in the Sultanate of Oman. The researcher adopted the quantitative descriptive approach. The study population consisted of (1100) workers in the governorate’s schools. The random sample of the study consisted of (327) individuals according to Stephen Thompson’s equation (2017); The researcher designed a questionnaire by making use of (15) previous studies, which consisted of (72) phrases, distributed into (5) variables for strategic management and one variable for job satisfaction. The apparent validity, consistency, and structural validity of the questionnaire were confirmed, then the questionnaire's stability was confirmed by the alpha coefficient. Then it was distributed to a pilot sample. The researcher used the following statistical methods: Pearson consistency coefficient, Cronbach's alpha coefficient, descriptive analysis. The study reached a number of results, including: that all strategic management axes received a high rating from the sample's point of view; where came first the axis of evaluation, follow-up, followed by the axis of formulation of objectives third, then the axis of implementation, and finally the axis of planning. The results also indicated that all the terms of the job satisfaction axis got a high rating. In light of these results, the researcher recommends; the need to continue searching for the reasons and motives that lead to the school administration's commitment to the strategic objectives.
