Born in Izmir/Turkey in 1978, Bilge Kınam is a full-time instructor as an Associate Professor in Eskişehir Osmangazi University, Faculty of Art and Design, Visual Communication Design Department. Her field of study is graphic design, with a focus on multidisciplinary art & design works; Bilge Kınam teaches Graphic Design Studio, Desktop Publishing Design, Art Concepts, Port-folio Design, Visual Communication Project, Socially Responsible Design and Sustainable Design. Kınam has worked on different social responsibility design projects for NGO’s and local municipalities. She conducted at PiCoDe (International Collective for Design) — KA203 Erasmus+ Project as a strategic partner between 2020 -2022 representing ESOGÜ Faculty of Art and Design. Within the scope of the outputs of the design workshops held in Portugal, Poland and Turkey; she has studies at international Picode Methodology Pedagogical booklet, and interdisciplinary design studies called "Collective for Design".


In 2000, Kınam received her BA from Faculty of Fine Arts, Design and Architecture, Graphic Design at Bilkent University in 2000. She studied further from 2008 to complete her MFA from Dokuz Eylül University, Institute of Fine Arts, Graphic Design for two years. In 2015, she received her Proficiency in Arts degree in Graphic Design in Anadolu University. During her master’s degree, she worked as a designer in Santex Moden, in Aachen/Germany with the Erasmus Training Program. She volunteered for EVS Action 2 project and worked at Plas Lluest Daily Centre with mentally disabled people for 12 months in Aberystwyth/Wales.

She worked as a graphic designer in various advertising agencies and design offices in Izmir and Istanbul since 2000, and as a lecturer at the Graphic Design Department at Izmir University of Economics between 2006 and 2009. Kınam has organized design workshops in Portugal, Poland, Spain and South Africa and produces design works in the fields of experimental typography, animated video graphics and social responsibility. Kınam has various national and international group and personal exhibitions and publications. Believing that the greatest learning lies on the personal experience, Bilge Kınam loves traveling to different geographies, discovering new cultures and participating in cultural activities, nature walks, cinema, music and animals.
