This study aimed; Highlighting images of electoral crimes, and clarifying the penalties prescribed for these crimes in the "Shura Council" elections in the Sultanate of Oman. The researcher adopted the descriptive analytical method. The results showed: Articles (69), (70) and (71) of the Shura Council Elections Law mentioned a number of electoral crimes committed by candidates, voters, third parties or employees, including: The conduct of voting, carrying a firearm, registering the name of others in the electoral register, violating the rules, impersonating others, spreading false statements among voters, insulting any of those in charge of the electoral process, undertaking any act that would affect the conduct of the electoral process. Article (72) of the law describes the attempt to commit the stipulated crimes; shall be punished with the penalty prescribed for the complete crime. The law also deals with electoral crimes committed by chairmen, members and rapporteurs of electoral commissions. The study also clarified the penalties prescribed for these crimes.
