This study aimed to discuss the phenomenon of teacher absenteeism from school, and its impact on the academic achievement of post-primary students in South Al Sharqiyah Governorate. A mixed quantitative and qualitative approach was used for the data collection. The study sample consisted of (78) male and female teachers to answer the questionnaire, in addition to an interview with (20) male and female teachers whose absences were noticed. A tool was built to measure the impact of teachers' absence on students' academic achievement, consisted of (25) items. Individually semi-open remote interviews were conducted with the teachers' small-sample. Statistical methods used: descriptive analysis, Pearson correlation coefficient analysis, Cronbach's alpha coefficient analysis. The study findings indicated that; there are several reasons for the absence of teachers from the official working hours and their absence from some classes. The results also showed the existence of multiple negative effects on the educational process and academic achievement due to the absence of the teacher. The study also showed that the absence of teachers affects the implementation of the educational aspects of the educational process, including educational means. The study revealed that it is necessary to achieve balance and equality between teachers in the distribution of weekly lessons.
