This quantitative qualitative study aimed to measure the relationship between the level of general satisfaction and the psychological adjustment of students in Omani public and private universities. And measuring the relationship between the level of general satisfaction and academic achievement of students. And diagnosing the most important problems facing students in university life during the study period, from the students' point of view. The study adopted the descriptive analytical approach. The study population consisted of all students of the final year at Sultan Qaboos University, Sohar and Al-Buraimi private universities, the number of which was (5718). The study sample was randomly selected, stratified, according to the table of Christie and Morgan (1970) from all faculties in the three universities, with a total of (855). The sample of the interviews was (30) male and female students from the three universities. A questionnaire was prepared consisting of (69) items distributed in (7) axes. As for the interview questions, they contain (5) axes; Its results support the axes of the questionnaire. Statistical methods: descriptive analysis, Cronbach's alpha coefficient, one-way ANOVA, t-test, Scheffe test. Linear Correlation Coefficients (Pearson) Correlation Calculation. The findings of the study revealed that: There is a strong direct relationship between the level of general satisfaction and the psychological adjustment of the student, where the higher the level of satisfaction, the greater the psychological adjustment of the student. Psychological pressure affects the level of psychological compatibility of the student, and is reflected negatively on the level of ambition, motivation for achievement and thus academic achievement. There are statistically significant differences, in favor of students with a high GPA; That is, the greater the degree of students' satisfaction with academic and administrative experiences, a positive impact on the student's academic average, and it was found that academic achievement plays an effective role in reviewing curricula and educational programs. through open-ended questions at the end of the questionnaire; The most important problems facing the students were identified. As well as knowing students' opinions about the proposed measures to enhance educational services in universities. It turns out by analyzing the answers to individual interview questions; Its results confirmed the study's questionnaire and are largely consistent with it.
